Die lyrische Sopranistin Julia Hinger, geboren 1995 in Reutlingen, ist als vielseitige Künstlerin im Bereich Oper, Konzert und Lied tätig. Ihr Repertoire umfasst Partien wie Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Ännchen (Der Freischütz) sowie Bastienne (Bastien und Bastienne). In der Spielzeit 2025/26 übernahm sie die Partie der Ida in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus am Staatstheater Braunschweig. In der kommenden Spielzeit wird sie im Rahmen der Burgplatz-Open-Air-Produktion des Staatstheaters Braunschweig als Brautjungfer in Carl Maria von Webers Der Freischütz zu hören sein.

Lyric soprano Julia Hinger, born in 1995 in Reutlingen (Germany), is a versatile artist in opera, concert and Art song repertoire. Her stage repertoire includes roles such as Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Ännchen (Der Freischütz) and Bastienne (Bastien und Bastienne). In the 2025/26 season, she performed Ida in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus at the Staatstheater Braunschweig. In the upcoming season, she will perform in the Burgplatz open-air production of Carl Maria von Weber’s Der Freischütz as one of the bridesmaids.
Alongside her stage work, the young soprano is a prize winner of the Richard Wagner Scholarship 2024, the Deutschlandstipendium, the scholarship of the Friends of the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Stuttgart, and the Bovicelli Scholarship of the Schloss Weißenbrunn Foundation.
After completing her Schulmusik studies at the University of Music Trossingen, complemented by additional studies in jazz and popular music, she studied vocal performance with Prof. Melanie Diener, focusing on opera and vocal pedagogy, graduating with top marks in 2021.
